A Letter of Recommendation - Personal Chef Job

The week after Thanksgiving this year, I decided to try Trudy's personal Chef service. This is a very busy time of year for me, as all my creative energy is used up preparing for a showing of new paintings. I had mentioned to Trudy that I was so pooped at 5:00, and longed just to sit and eat a healthy meal with my family. I had tried the prepared meals you can get from any number of places, and they were good, but I still had to go there, place the order, and maybe it was just not what I had in mind.
First Trudy and I talked about what my family liked to eat. Instead of analyzing a list of choices, I could just talk to here freely about what I had been wanting to make, or try, but hadn't had the time. She also took into account the picky preferences of my 8 year old daughter. She looked in my kitchen to see what I already had on hand, so she could adjust her shopping list.
The next week, she e-mailed me a suggested list of menu items which included Tortilla soup, lasagna and salad, tacos, pork chops, and salmon with fresh veggies. She was even going to make a batch of chocolate chip cookies. It all looked perfect!
She came early the following Monday. She had just been to the store, so everything was fresh and ready to go. Using some of my stored food items, along with the newly purchased things, she began to cook. Within minutes my kitchen smelled amazing. She worked quickly, with several things going at once. Before I knew it, I had more than a week's worth of wonderful home cooked meals neatly stacked in my fridge and freezer,my kitchen was cleaned up, and there was a warm plate of cookies on my counter!!
The next week, we began to eat our wonderful meals. They were all so tasty! She had put specific instructions on all the packaging, it was a no brainer. There was very minimal clean up as well. Usually I am exhausted by dinner time, and I may not be the best company at the table. I found myself in the nicest frame of mind, just able to visit with my family about their day and enjoy the wonderful food. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted. I had a very productive week in my studio, and a great dinners with my family. My husband, and even my daughter said "Yum Mom" more than once. It was so nice not to rush out and get take out, and then have the sodium bloat the next day. We all felt great, and relaxed, and productive. It was a wonderful , valuable experience. Trudy not only gave us wonderful meals to eat, but a peaceful, smooth week!
You have got to try this service, you will not be sorry. The best part is Trudy herself. You cannot find a more professional, enthusiastic, talented chef anywhere. I truly felt like she cared for our family. It was more that a person providing a service. Trudy provided excellence in a world where most things are mediocre at best. She truly loves what she does, and that spills over from a wonderful caring heart.
My Best,
Dyana H.

Host Appreciation Party

Every year I cater an event for all of my Pampered Chef hosts that have had a party in that particular year. I give away close to $2000 in Pampered Chef products back to them through a fun raffle. This is where my catering and personal chefing started. One of my host asked me if I would cater her husband's birthday party. I have been asked over the years when presenting my Pampered Chef shows, "would you come cook for us" and to that I now answer "Yes" and that is the personal chef side of my business. I love it!! These pictures are of the 2007 host appreciation food.
